warmest welcomes!

Hi Bridgette, thank you!

Hi Tina, you may call me Stefano. I hope to attend the whole event next year. All the best

Ciao Stefano, welcome to the community :-)!

Ciao Mirjana, thank you very much!

Stefano , yoga conference is really a big event , have time u should come and enjoy it.
not all the time we can join teachers’s lectures all over the world, don’t miss the chance next year. It will be held next year during May

Hi TIna, thanks, I have read it will be from 10th to 14th May, right? The pan is definitely to attend the whole event. At the end, you may end up spending more or less the same just shopping in the bazar if you are not careful…so better to invest the money on learning something

the yoga clothing is very expensive ,i rather interested in teacher demo at the lunch hr

Just wonder Duncan Wong’s yoga has lot of martial art in it is it really yoga.

I went looking for books (not much choice here in China…) and for a good neti both, got all I was looking for. I cannot say anything about Duncan Wong, never heard/seen anything of him. Is he in HK?

Duncan is famous due to he’s been singer Madona’s yoga trainer. China yaga history isn’t long and some of the center just treat yoga as exercise so it need time for development

I know 2 famous center in GZ already close up some centers, a pity.

Mainly here in China Yoga is a fashion. In fact, my teacher asked me once whether I wanted to go and learn Yoga in Shanghai, where there is a guy who taught Madonna. Don’t whether it’s the same or not, but I am interested into yoga-fashion. Not to be snob, just I have different interests. I am now studying at Professional Yoga, some teachers are really involved in philosophy as well, other less or not at all. Different teachers for different students I guess…

glad that u also take yoga seriously, if u can please follow those good Indian teacher , their yoga is more original ( but must must good one and never see at their handsome face or eyes but what’s contain in their heart )

careful to choose teacher as some never respect the true spirit of yoga.

Well Tina, as handsome as he may be, I still prefer pretty girls, though I am a loyal husband and the only pleasure is the sight of them
Seriously, I am lucky enough to have been able to find an Indian teacher, as I will definitely learn Taiji from a Chinese, then let’s see what life will give me…the plan would be to spend some time in India, at some TTC. Where do you train/teach in HK?

I rec’d TTC both in Hong Kong and India. Just taught a while then letting it be something good to body and mind.

Glad that u too has plan to India, it’s not modern & dirty but many peoples are very extreme that either love it or hate it. I am the former type , love it at first visit.
